Prom 2020 is right around the corner, which means lots of shopping for suits and dresses that are way too expensive. It is a struggle for students every year to find the right dress for the night. But what if the perfect dress was right at your own school?

This year HCHS’s Pride and Spirit has taken on a new fundraiser called “Say Yes to the Dress.” It is a prom dress drive for the students of HCHS who don’t want to spend lots of money on an outfit for the night.

The success of the fundraiser all depends on the amount of dresses donated. The club is accepting any used prom or formal dress that is in good condition. Donations can be taken to the library to Mrs. Plunkett until January 31st.

Shopping will be located in the library on February 13th and March 19th from 3:30 to 6:30. Pride and Spirit members will also be there to help anyone looking for a dress. Tell Mrs. Plunkett if you plan to come and shop.

So why spend lots of money on a prom dress when you don’t have to? Come on down to HCHS and say “Yes to the Prom Dress!”
